The Thermal Camera allows the user to clearly identify images in the total absence of light and allow the user to see through smoke and light fog and to view the thermal patterns and contrast in the scene. It is not be susceptible to "image blooming" caused by bright lights as are image intensifiers and visible spectrum cameras. The Thermal Camera does not depend on any visible or infrared illumination or image intensifier to produce images.
Examples of thermal modes

The Thermal Camera utilize an un-cooled micro bolometer responding in the spectral range of 8 -12 urn which is beyond what is visible to the human eye. Camera support fixed 1 motorized FOV lenses with suitable housing rated for outdoor installations. It also have features like control operation Polarity, NUC, Digital Zoom & Freeze and have following standards of IP66, Shock & Vibration for MIL-STD- 810E & CE rating
The Thermal Camera have a suitable sun light shade to limit direct sunlight. The approximate Detection & Recognition range for a vehicle and a human target with each the camera:

For Vehicle with 2.3m critical dimension:
Lens | Detection | Recognition |
35mm | 1600m | 540m |
For Human Target
Lens | Detection | Recognition |
35mm | 650m | 220m |
It provide a standard NTSC or PAL analog composite video output to connect directly to digital video recorders, encoders and monitoring equipment. It is controllable by a serial interface (RS-232 / 422) for camera set-up and control with a computer. The weight with all accessories is less than 2.5Kg. Camera support for heaters to operate in severe cold environment.
